Year 3&4 Maths and English

Year 3/4 have made a fantastic start to the Spring Term.

Maths:

This week year 3 and 4 have created fractions walls, found fractions of quantities, found fractions of coloured skittles and found fractions of shapes. At home, can you find fractions of objects/ food? 

English:

Today we have tried to use our detective skills to work out why certain items were packed in 2 cases we found in the classroom. We worked out that the bags had been packed for a mother and some children who might be going on a journey. Next week, we will find out where the journey takes them. 

The children all tried really hard with their swimming today and have been split into two groups.
