Sutton Hoo

At Sutton Hoo there is a large mound of earth covering the burial of an important Anglo-Saxon chief. He was buried inside a ship, along with treasures, which the Anglo-Saxons believed would be needed in the afterlife.

This week we studied these treasures and recreated our own.
