Today we followed a recipe to make pancakes for shrove Tuesday. The children helped make the batter and then watched the pancakes being cooked on a camping stove. We topped our yummy pancakes with bananas, strawberries, raspberries or lemon juice. Some children tried all four! We are now ready for Ash Wednesday and will be thinking about what we will be giving up for lent.
