Sea creatures

Our current topic in Reception is 'under the sea'. Today we made our very own sea creatures using modelling clay for the first time. The children said it felt 'squishy, sticky, gluey and hard!' The children chose all sorts of creatures to make including a sea horse, octopus, eel and clown fish. They had fun manipulating the material to get a planned effect and  we can't wait for them to dry so we can paint them! 

08.02.17- today we painted our sea creatures, we think they look fab! What do you think?
