The gingerbread man

Date: 14th Jun 2017 @ 9:00pm

The children wanted to read the gingerbread man but weren't happy with the ending as the fox ate the gingerbread man, oh no! They then talked about how the story could end differently and they decided the gingerbread man should've built a boat instead to cross the river. The children were very excited and worked together beautifully to build a boat out of recycled materials. They even considered how hungry and tired the gingerbread man might be after his journey so created a feast and a bed. When the time came to test if the boat was successful the children were delighted. Yay, it floated! What a lovely morning we had, well done Reception.
