Internet Safety

Date: 14th Nov 2016 @ 3:57pm

Today we learnt all about being safe when using the internet. We had a special assembly and we then discussed how to be safe as a class. SID the superhero (who protects children on the internet) taught us four top tips to help us stay safe:

1) People you don't know are strangers, they aren't always who they say they are.

2) Be nice to people on the computer just like you would in school.

3) Keep your personal information private.

4) If you get that 'ut oh' feeling always tell a grown up you trust.

To help us remember these tips we learnt a song which you can listen to and watch in the below video.

We also made animal masks which remind us that you can pretend to be someone else easily, which is why we shouldn't talk to strangers. We had lots of fun playing with these masks!

Here is a link that provides you with 30 safe and fun websites for you to go on with your child, enjoy!
